I haven't used this service but one of my neighbors did at driftwood Manor I have used this type of service before and I was 8 months pregnant the guy dropped me off and pulled off as soon as my toe touched the ground the driver number 1708 jumped out the car she opened the door for the passenger and waited for him to go inside. She is a great asset to the company. Having someone like her is a great blessing to the company

At first the service was great and accessible for my wife and I, who ate both handicap. Even though the drop you off an hour before your appointment. They usually pick you up on time as scheduled. Most drivers are very professional and courteous. But I have had a few that are not. On a couple of occasions I’ve been on a bus where the driver didn’t have on a mask or did not wear it properly. Yesterday was my worst experience with the service. As usual I got dropped off to my appointment 1hour early. But my pickup time was 1 hour and 45 minutes late. And I didn’t get home from my appointment, which lasted 15 minutes, until 4 hours and 15 minutes later. For disabled person, that’s a very long time.

I like the concept of door to door service. Four dollars round trip for Raleigh is affordable. However, the organization has the worst timing for pick up & drop off. My most memorable experience was being dropped off to my place of employment and told after more the 8 hours I had no reservation and no return trip home. The majority of the staff is rude and unprofessional.

We were told to be ready @ 7:30 am for a 9am appointment well 9am came & went , I called & was told that he was dropped from the 1st list & we were never told. Then they were looking for a new driver & sending a different bus, which we waited till 10am & still no driver & bus....was told they still need a driver , well by then we gave up. This is a terrible run department & program

The operators will consistently tell you the ride is 15 minutes away and just be lying.

Not reliable at all as far as getting dialysis patients to and from treatment. If they even get dropped off for treatment they are often very late. Patient's often wait an hour + to get picked up from treatment as well. Drivers will not wait if a patient is not ready when they want them to be- often leaving then failing to come back.
Inexcusable

As a mental health provider, we deal with GO WAKE daily. The drivers are rude, disrespectful and demanding. We had one driver bring a client to the clinic who was not our client. When we told the driver that this was not our client her response was, sorry I am late for my next call, and she quickly drove off. The client has severe and persistent mental illness, lacks capacity as evidenced by her being under a County held guardianship. I called GO WAKE and asked for a supervisor I was told that she would call back that was three weeks ago. Someone should be available to deal with these types of problems if clients were being dropped at your offices I bet it would be solved quickly.

Very poor service for getting appointment and then wait for Access car to come and pick up. For 9am doctor appointment we were given pick up time of 7:30am and Access car comes to pick up at 9:15am and meanwhile when we call to find out about the car status, representative will put you on hold for roughly 20 minutes and still they don’t have proper answer for us. This happened may times still no change. This service is for seniors still they have to go through lots of trouble.

My uses this service 3 times a week to dialysis appt not coming from her appt either one of my family member pick her up after we get off work. In the past the transportation has not picked her up 3 times since last Sat despite calling and having precise direction to the house. Instead being told the driver came to the home and ringing the doorbell which did not happen. My mother get up early so she sit at the window at 930am and wait for them to pick her up for a 12pm appt. I was told by a neighbor that they saw the tranport truck at another home on a different street with the same house number. So I went to that house and asked about it they showed me the sercurity footage of the driver ringing the doorbell. Are you kidding me can you read a freaking street sign ...what the hell do you do ride around look at house numbers instead of street signs. This the most unprofessional service I ever seen.
