Ziggi's Coffee to host fundraiser supporting first responders' mental health

Greeley Tribune - 6/22/2022

Jun. 22—Ziggi's Coffee will host a fundraiser this weekend for a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring first responders can access essential resources for mental health and well-being.

Revital provides support and encouragement through services that benefit the mind, body and spirit of first responders, according to a Ziggi's news release. On Sunday, the company will donate $1 to Revital for every drink sold in-store and through the mobile app at every Ziggi's location.

Funds will help Revital's program providing resources, outings and retreats to first responders at no cost, the release said.

"These individuals run towards the situations that most people run away from, and their mental health and well-being often takes a back seat to their service. We are thrilled to be hosting this fundraiser to support this organization and provide our communities with the opportunity to learn more about first responders' day-to-day experiences," Ziggi's co-founder and CEO Brandon Knudsen said in the release

Additional donations made directly by customers are accepted during the fundraiser.

"I identified Ziggi's as a great partner for this fundraiser because both of our missions are rooted in community," Revital founder Jordan Long said. "Everyone feels automatically welcomed at Ziggi's, you feel like family, and that is our hope with Revital. When a first responder and their family connect with us, we want them to feel better about their journey knowing they are fully supported by our organization."
